This week in People Magazine there’s a spread on Sandra Bullock and her happy life with adopted son Louis. Long before Sandra, Angelina and Charlize another famous starlett adopted 2 children. Things didn’t turn out as well for this famous mom when her daughter Christina penned Mommy Dearest about her. – Joan Crawford(Missy said, “Betty Davis”/Jen answered correctly.)

Christina and Tony were co-stars together on “The Mickey Mouse Club” back in the 90s, and when Tony auditioned for “The Voice”, Christina didn’t recognize him.  Or maybe she did.

Their fellow former-Mouseketeer Dale Godboldo says that during the show all the girls were in love with Tony, including Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.  The two never dated, and Dale thinks that Christina has held a grudge all these years.

Sources also say that Adam Levine pushed for Tony to sing “99 Problems”, and it wasn’t as much of a mutual decision as was stated on TV.  Adam used it as another way to stick it to Christina.

Fellow judge Cee Lo Green says that Christina and Adam need to get over their feud, saying, “It’s getting a little old and a little inconvenient for everyone.”

“The Avengers” weekend box office haul has been amended – upward.  The movie actually made more than $207 million in its first weekend (it was originally estimated the film made $200 million). It holds the record for the biggest opening weekend box office for a movie, beating “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2″ by almost $40 million.

The Beastie Boys have seen a bump in album sales, following the death of MCA.  On iTunes, “Licensed to Ill” got as high as #2 on the album chart, while “Paul’s Boutique” was at #13, and “Ill Communication” was at #27.  “Check Your Head” and “Hot Sauce Committee, Part Two” were also in the Top 100, while “To the 5 Boroughs” was at #174.

Mike D and Ad Rock also released statements about Adam’s death.  Ad Rock said:

I know, we should have Tweeted and Instagrammed every sad, happy and inspired thought, smile or tear by now.  But honestly, the last few days have just been a blur of deep emotions for our closest friend, band mate and brother.

I miss Adam so much…he really served as a great example for myself and so many of what determination, faith, focus, and humility coupled with a sense of humor can accomplish.  The world is in need of many more like him.  We love you, Adam.

“Lost” star Matthew Fox was arrested for DUI on Friday.  He was pulled over early in the morning, booked, and was released later in the day.  This is his second booze-filled incident in the last year.  Last August he got into a fight with a female bus driver who was driving a bachelorette party around.  When she refused to let Matthew onto the bus, he started getting physical.

The Parents Television Council is demanding a boycott of “America’s Got Talent” now that Howard Stern is on board.  The new season premieres Monday.  The PTC has sent a letter to 91 companies, asking that they pull their advertising.

Sacha Baron Cohen’s new movie “The Dictator” comes out soon, and when he appeared in character on the Oscar red carpet he didn’t originally intend to dump ashes on Ryan Seacrest.  He actually wanted to dump the ashes on George Clooney, but they decided that was a bad idea since George was up for a few awards that night.
