Our first weekend home in a month! After traveling for the last 4 weekends I just wanted to be a homebody this weekend.
I celebrated being home by letting my son have a sleepover (I know, what’s wrong with me?!?!) He’s been begging for one all summer, and since school’s only a couple of weeks away, we said yes. Here’s the aftermath – it looks like they slept on top of each other:
This one is in a princess dress every day. She dressed up her baby for a walk, and then she said she had to go back inside to change clothes so “they could match,” natch. Not pictured: Mom in yoga pants and running shoes. I’m pretty sure my wardrobe is a disappointment to her.
Finally picked up my Mother’s Day present – a new bike, so I can go riding with this one!
Sunday morning=bed head and breakfast prep for the week. Here’s my kitchen helper:
We wrapped our lazy Sunday at the pool. The smell of a rainbow push pop brought back so many childhood memories for me!
Hope you had a relaxing weekend. I can’t believe we may be going back to school shopping next weekend!
