Jon Hamm is on the cover of the latest Rolling Stone, and in the issue he talks about his…er, stuff.
Just last week, the story came out that Jon was asked by “Mad Men” producers to start wearing underwear, because his 1960s wardrobe for the show exposed too much when he went commando.
When the reporter talked about how people talk about Jon’s package, the actor said, “Yeah, I’m familiar.” Jon continued:
Most of it’s tongue-in-cheek, but it is a little rude. It just speaks to a broader freedom that people feel like they have — a prurience….They’re called ‘privates’ for a reason. I’m wearing pants, for f–k’s sake. Lay off….I mean, it’s not like I’m a f—ing lead miner. There are harder jobs in the world. But when people feel the freedom to create Tumblr accounts about my c–k, I feel like that wasn’t part of the deal [of fame].
I get where Jon is coming from, but I don’t know that getting angry about it will stop people from talking about it. You know what might?
