Alone, unattached, looking for love? There is hope but you’ll need a shopping cart and an open mind.

A study of “missed connection” posts on Craigslist revealed that WalMart is the most popular place where people find love at first sight, according to a new study in Psychology Today Magazine.

Researchers determined that people in over 15 states found someone special while browsing the aisles of everyday low prices.

However, the study noted that where this sensation occurs depends on the individual’s age and I might add, shopping habits.

Though most Midwest states were cited in the study, Walmart isn’t the only place where people are experiencing love at first sight. In New York, the most frequently cited spot was the subway, and in California, the popular gym chain 24 Hour Fitness.

Other hot places to find love, or a “missed connection” were gas stations, convenience stores, and super stores.
