On this Valentine’s Day, are you looking for love in all the wrong places?

A new survey from an online real estate site, Trulia, finds the most single men live in downtown St. Louis neighborhoods and just west of the Mississippi River.

Single women outnumber single men the most in Brentwood, Richmond Heights, St. Louis Hills and Valley Park.

“Some people decide to make a move that puts themselves more in loves way,” Trulia’s chief economist Jed Kolko said. “But even if you’re not planning on moving you can at least decide to hangout in neighborhoods you’re more likely to find someone you’d want to date.”

Nationally, women looking for single men should try their odds in either big town Las Vegas or small town Williston, North Dakota.

Men, on the other hand, should head East, to the DC/Maryland area, Boston and New York.
