Justin Timberlake Gets A New Job With St. Louis Ties

St. Louis’ Anheuser-Busch has bestowed the title of Creative Director for Bud Light Platinum upon Justin Timberlake.  According to an Anheuser-Busch press release, Justin Timberlake would “provide creative, musical and cultural curation for the brand.” 

The best part?  During the Grammy’s on Sunday, we will be able to see a new Bud Light Platinum beer featuring Justin Timberlake!!!!

Apparently, Justin is a fan of the beer.  He says Bud Light Platinum, “brings a refined, discerning aesthetic to beer that plays well with what I’m doing.”  Ok, whatever you say.

As Creative Director, Justin will be able to use other artists’ music in the marketing of Bud Light Platinum.  He’s psyched about that.

I have a feeling female consumerism of Bud Light Platinum is about to skyrocket.

Will Justin’s new role with Bud Light Platinum influence your decision to drink it?  Honestly, I would, initially answer, no, but i’m a follower, by nature.  If i’m out to dinner with girlfriends and everyone is ordering Bud Light Platinum, I would say, “Let’s get a bucket” and would start dreaming about Justin Timberlake showing up to dance for us and pay  our tab and divorce Jessica Biel and demand that I move into his Beverly Hills mansion with him.

In other words, good move Anheuser-Busch.  You’ve still got it.
