In 2012, Kelly Clarkson decided to work on her health. She ended up losing 30 pounds. She says, in one month, she lost 18 pounds. Her advice? “I was working with a trainer, and she said, ‘You’d be amazed the amount of weight you can drop by halving your portions. I know it sounds crazy, but do it for two weeks and watch what happens.’ I just cut back my portions, I stopped eating late at night, and I work out a little more than I used to, and I literally dropped 18 pounds in a month.”
She also fell in love in 2012 and attribute that to some of her weight loss. She says, “If I’m going to be messing around, I gotta look good.”
Well, finding someone to fall in love with is a bit more difficult than cutting portions.
I, too, lost weight in 2012. I ended 2012 about 50 pounds less than I started the year! My advice is the same as everyone else’s – eat better and workout more!
