Following Ann Curry’s departure from the “Today” show we knew that she’d be back occasionally as a reporter. But who knew her first report back on the show would be face-to-face with Matt Lauer.

Ann made her return to the “Today” show on Thursday, live from London, talking about a piece she did about an Olympic photographer. She says very little to Matt Lauer, but it’s even better to watch her facial expressions when Matt asks her questions, both before and after her segment. You can tell there’s no love lost between the two.
Seriously, why is NBC torturing her? Let her talk to Al Roker, for goodness’ sake!
