“Modern Family” is one of my favorite TV shows! It’s hilarious and very witty. Well, I was pretty upset to read that negotiations are still happening with some of the cast members.
Even though the first table read for next season is set for next week, five of the show’s cast members have not renewed their contracts. Sofia Vergara, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Julie Bowen, and Eric Stonestreet are all asking $200,000 per episode. Ed O’Neill makes more than the other cast members, so that is why he is not involved in the negotiations.
The number of awards that “Modern Family” has won, I don’t see why the cast members shouldn’t get $200,000! If the ratings were bad, then I could see why they wouldn’t make that much money.
Please oh please pay them what they want because I want more “Modern Family” on TV. I know, I’m being selfish, but at least I am speaking the truth!
