Gateway Pet Guardians Has East Side Pride
Gateway Pet Guardians showed their East Side Pride in April by holding their fourth annual Pasta for Pets event at the Pasta House Co. in Fairview Heights.
Gateway Pet Guardians is a nonprofit virtual animal shelter that relies on donations and volunteer foster families to rescue starving and abandoned animals in East St. Louis and surrounding communities, and Pasta for Pets is their biggest fundraiser that they do each year.
Around 200 people showed up for the event that included a silent and live auction, a DJ, and an appetizer buffet. Pasta for Pets ending up garnering about $10,000 in donations for Gateway Pet Guardians. In addition, a portion of every meal sold during April at the Pasta House Co. in Fairview Heights went directly to Gateway Pet Guardians.
