Each week, Paul Cook brings you the recap of what’s been hot on the airwaves. Check out the Y98 STL 20 every Saturday morning from 8 – 10am to find out which songs were on top for the week and which artists have songs on the rise.

#20 – Neon Trees – “Everybody Talks”

Neon Trees joins the STL Countdown this week with their latest single, “Everyone Talks” from their second studio album, Picture Show released in December 2011.

#19 – Gavin DeGraw – “Not Over You”

Gavin DeGraw falls back two spots on the countdown to #19 with “Not Over You,” the lead single from his fourth studio album Sweeter. Don’t miss Gavin at The Peabody Opera House with Colbie Caillat on June 24th!

#18 – Flo Rida ft. Sia – “Wild Ones”

After their STL 20 debut last week Flo Rida featuring Sia jump to #18 with their song “Wild Ones” from Flo Rida’s upcoming fourth studio album Wild Ones.

#17 – Andy Grammer – “Fine By Me”

Andy Grammer slips back one spot this week to #17 with his song “Fine By Me” from his 2011 self titled album.

#16 – Carly Rae Jepsen – “Call Me Maybe”

Canadian singer-songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen jumps ahead in the countdown to #16 this week with her single, “Call Me Maybe” from her first EP, Curiosity.

#15 – Christina Perri – “A Thousand Years”

Christina Perri stays strong on the countdown this week at#15 with “A Thousand Years,” the second single from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.

#14 – Bruno Mars – “It Will Rain”

Bruno Mars falls back one spot this week to #14 this week with his latest single, “It Will Rain.”

#13 – Adele – “Set Fire to the Rain”

Adele falls back one spot on the countdown to #13 with her third single “Set Fire to the Rain,” from 2010’s 21.

#12 – One Direction – “What Makes You Beautiful”

One Direction comes in at #12 this week with their single “What Makes You Beautiful” from their 2011 debut studio album, Up All Night.

#11 – Rihanna – “We Found Love”

Rihanna jumps falls back to #11 this week with “We Found Love,” the lead single from her sixth studio album, 2011’s Talk That Talk.

#10 – Maroon 5 – “Payphone”

Maroon 5 jumps ahead in the countdown one spot to #10 with their latest single, “Payphone” from their fourth studio album Overexposed which is due out June 26, 2012.

#9 – Jessie Jay- “Domino” 

Jessie J stays slips back one spot this week on the countdown to #9 with her latest single “Domino” from her first studio album Who Are You.

#8 – Jason Mraz – “I Won’t Give Up”

Jason Mraz skips skips ahead to #8 with “I Won’t Give Up” from his upcoming fourth studio album, Love Is a Four Letter Word.

#7- Katy Perry- “Part Of Me”

Katy Perry falls back one spot to #7 this week with “Part Of Me” from her album Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection.

#6 – The Wanted – “Glad You Came”

Making their way up on the countdown, The Wanted climb to #6 with their single, “Glad You Came” from their second studio album, Battleground.

#5 – Kelly Clarkson – “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You)”

Kelly Clarkson falls back to the #5 spot this week with her song, “Stronger,” released as the second single from 2011’s Stronger.

#4 – Adele – “Rumor Has It”

Adele comes in at number #4  this week jumping ahead two spots with her fourth single “Rumor Has It” from her 2010 album 21.

#3 – Train – “Drive By”

Train falls back one spot this week to #3 with their song, “Drive By” from their upcoming album California 37.  Train comes to the Peabody Opera House on July 29th! Tickets go on sale Friday, April 27th!

#2- fun. – “We Are Young”

Indie pop band fun. gets bumped out of the number one spot to #2 with their single, “We Are Young” from their second studio album Some Nights released in February 2012.

#1 – Gotye – “Somebody That I Used To Know”

Skipping ahead two spots on the countdown to #1 is Belgium-Australian musician, Gotye with his song “Somebody That I Used To Know from his 2011 album, Making Mirrors.
