We’re just finding out that Liam Hemsworth popped the question to Miley on May 31st.

Miley told PEOPLE magazine, “I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam.”

Miley’s ring is 3.5-carats from jeweler Neil Lane.

Miley is 19, while Liam is 22.  The two met on the set of their film “The Last Song” in 2009.
