Each week, Paul Cook brings you the recap of what’s been hot on the airwaves. Check out the Y98 STL 20 every Saturday morning from 8 – 10am to find out which songs were on top for the week and which artists have songs on the rise.

#20 – Flo Rida ft. Sia – “Wild Ones”

Joining the countdown this week is Flo Rida featuring Sia with their song “Wild Ones” from Flo Rida’s upcoming fourth studio album Wild Ones.

#19 – Katy Perry- “The One That Got Away”

Katy Perry falls back two spots this week to #19 with “The One That Got Away,” the sixth single from 2010’s Teenage Dream.

#18 – Carly Rae Jepsen – “Call Me Maybe”

Canadian singer-songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen jumps ahead in the countdown to #18 this week with her single, “Call Me Maybe” from her first EP, Curiosity.

#17 – Gavin DeGraw – “Not Over You”

Gavin DeGraw falls back two spots on the countdown to #17 with “Not Over You,” the lead single from his fourth studio album Sweeter. Don’t miss Gavin at The Peabody Opera House with Colbie Caillat on June 24th!

#16 – Andy Grammer – “Fine By Me”

Andy Grammer stays strong at the #16 spot this week with his song “Fine By Me” from his 2011 self titled album.

#15 – Christina Perri – “A Thousand Years”

Christina Perri slips on the countdown this week to #15 with “A Thousand Years,” the second single from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.

#14 – One Direction – “What Makes You Beautiful”

One Direction comes in at #14 this week with their single “What Makes You Beautiful” from their 2011 debut studio album, Up All Night.

#13 – Bruno Mars – “It Will Rain”

Bruno Mars jumps ahead one spot this week to #13 this week with his latest single, “It Will Rain.”

#12 – Adele – “Set Fire to the Rain”

Adele falls back 2 spots on the countdown to #12 with her third single “Set Fire to the Rain,” from 2010’s 21.

#11 – Maroon 5 – “Payphone”

Maroon 5 jumps ahead in the countdown two spots to #11 with their latest single, “Payphone” from their fourth studio album Overexposed which is due out June 26, 2012.

#10 – Rihanna – “We Found Love”

Rihanna jumps ahead one spot on the STL 20 countdown at #10 this week with “We Found Love,” the lead single from her sixth studio album, 2011’s Talk That Talk.

#9 – Jason Mraz – “I Won’t Give Up”

Jason Mraz skips slips behind to #9 with “I Won’t Give Up” from his upcoming fourth studio album, Love Is a Four Letter Word.

#8 – Jessie Jay- “Domino” 

Jessie J stays strong at the #8 spot this week on the countdown with her latest single “Domino” from her first studio album Who Are You.

#7 – The Wanted – “Glad You Came”

Making their way up on the countdown, The Wanted climb to #7 with their single, “Glad You Came” from their second studio album, Battleground.

#6 – Katy Perry- “Part Of Me”

Katy Perry falls back two spots to #6 this week with “Part Of Me” from her album Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection.

#5 – Adele – “Rumor Has It”

Adele comes in at number #5  this week jumping ahead two spots with her fourth single “Rumor Has It” from her 2010 album 21.

#4 – Kelly Clarkson – “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You)”

Kelly Clarkson falls back to the #4 spot this week with her song, “Stronger,” released as the second single from 2011’s Stronger.

#3 – Gotye – “Somebody That I Used To Know”

Skipping ahead two spots on the countdown to #5 is Belgium-Australian musician, Gotye with his song “Somebody That I Used To Know from his 2011 album, Making Mirrors.

#2 – Train – “Drive By”

Train skips ahead one spot to #2 spot this week with their song, “Drive By” from their upcoming album California 37.  Train comes to the Peabody Opera House on July 29th! Tickets go on sale Friday, April 27th!

#1 – fun. – “We Are Young”

Indie pop band fun. stays strong at the #1 spot for the third week in a row with their single, “We Are Young” from their second studio album Some Nights released in February 2012.
