If you’ve been outraged about the shooting death of 17 year old Trayvon Martin outside of Orlando, Florida, last month, there is a prayer vigil planned for St. Louis.
Trayvon was shot by a neighborhood watch captain as he walked through a subdivision. He was not armed and the watch captain, George Zimmerman, has not been arrested.
People all over the country are upset about this case and organizers in St. Louis have organized a prayer vigil. The prayer vigil is set for this Friday night, March 23rd in Tower Grove Park from 7pm to 9pm.
According to the Trayvon Martin Prayer Vigil and Rally Facebook page, organizers plan this to be a night honoring Trayvon’s life, praying for his family and standing in solidarity in hopes that JUSTICE will soon come.
The vigil will take place near the Cypress south pavilion.
