What do Adele and Beyonce have in common? A lot, actually.  Plus, what Beyonce and Jay-Z were doing the night of the Grammys….

Adele talks in Vogue about Beyonce being her idol:

She’s been a huge and constant part of my life as an artist since I was about ten or eleven.  I love how all of her songs are about empowerment. Even when she’s married and Jay-Z put a ring on it, she releases ‘Single Ladies.’ Go get yours. Go get what you deserve. I think she’s really inspiring. She’s beautiful. She’s ridiculously talented, and she is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. I’m the total opposite. I can moan my ass off; I can be lazy. She makes me want to do things with my life.

Do things? How about Adele’s six Grammys Sunday, which tied her with Beyonce for most wins by a woman on Grammy night.

New parents Beyonce and Jay-Z were no-shows at the Grammys on Sunday night.  They probably thought no one would be looking for them to go out for pizza on music’s biggest night.

Sunday, they drove from Manhattan to Brooklyn to eat at pizzeria Lucali.  Many diners didn’t notice that the two stars were even there.

The couple left 1-month-old Blue Ivy at home.
