With the recent shakeup at “The X-Factor”, lots of rumors have surfaced.

The latest rumor is Simon Cowell wants Katy Perry to join “The X-Factor”.  Simon has called Katy “hot … in a good way” and “feisty!”.

Simon shut down the rumors that Elton John and Mariah Carey will not be joining “The X-Factor”.  He also said the rumor about paying Beyoncé $100 million to be on the show was ridiculous.  He said, “The budget for the show is $100 million.  No one’s gonna pay $100 million for someone.  It would never, ever, ever happen.  It’s absolute nonsense.”
