Prom season is upon us. There is a great group of people in the metro area who, year after year, do a fantastic job at ensuring every child looks and feels good for prom. For the past few years, the Metro St. Louis Cinderella Project has been collecting beautiful gowns and then setting up shop for girls to get a beautiful formal dress for prom for free or at a major discount.
This morning, Taylor J. spoke with Diane Wolferding, Development and Community Relations for the Community Council of St. Charles County, and Amber Westerson, Group Marketing Director for CBL Properties.
If you are interested in donating a formal dress, please bring your dress, in wearable condition, to the customer service departments of the Chesterfield Mall, Mid-Rivers Mall, South County Center or West County Center until the end of February.
If you are interested in a formal dress for $29, come out and browse through all the gowns on Pink Saturday on March 10th at the Cinderella Boutique (in the JC Penney area) of Mid-Rivers Mall. Doors open at 8am. The Cinderella Boutique will also be open on Sunday, March 11th and Friday – Sunday, March 16-18 & March 23-25.
